The school community (parents, students and staff) have agreed that Mackellar girls wear a school uniform. The school community believes that the wearing of a uniform reflects the individual's commitment to the school. The girls are expected to be in FULL school or FULL sport uniform at all times. Due to Occupational, Health and Safety requirements (OH&S), students are required to wear enclosed, lace up, hard leather shoes at all times. Students not wearing these shoes may be excluded from practical classes (such as Science, Visual Arts, Photography, Design and Technology, Food Technology, Hospitality, Textiles and Design and Retail) where materials like chemicals, boiling water, melted wax, sharp implements or electrical tools may be in use. |  | All Mackellar uniform items, with the exception of shoes, are available exclusively through the school's Uniform Shop located in A block, next to the school office. Opening hours for the Uniform Shop are as per the Opening Hours below. The Uniform Shop opens extra hours (including weekends) at the beginning of the year, at the change over from summer to winter uniform, and at the end of the year. Any changes to opening times will be notified in the school newsletter. |  | Payment methods accepted are cash, cheque, eftpos, Mastercard and Visa card. You can place an order (on ‘Order Form’) and leave either at the school office or place in letterbox on the Uniform Shop door. Goods will be delivered (when Shop is open) to the school office and your daughter will be notified to collect them. |
